I am an abstract painter originally from northeast New Jersey, currently living in Lititz, Pennsylvania . I have been creating art for ten years but just recently ventured into selling my work. I create mixed media portraits and abstract paintings.
I'm an artist who loves experimenting with colors and creating new color combinations. You will always find bold blacks and gold in my artwork. I’m always trying new techniques or applying new ideas to my art and I am always on the look-out for something that will inspire my next painting. I love mixing color on the canvas and using painterly expressionist brush strokes.
My inspiration comes from life in urban environments. My style is gestural, loose and expressionist. I paint in layers to create depth and allow imagery to emerge on its own. Some of the artists that I admire are Franz Kline, Cy Twombly and Joan Mitchell.
My paintings are painted with emotion and care and never rushed. This process makes each artwork unique and one of a kind. I believe original painted artworks have meaning and show the artists' emotions through the brushwork and color. All of my paintings are 100% hand painted originals. My mixed media portrait paintings are created from imagination and each portrait has a unique mood and look.
